To be honest, I had never actually heard of Dollar Car Rental before a few months ago. Although I had seen plenty of television commercials from car rental companies like Enterprise and Hertz, for one reason or another, Dollar was simply a company that I did not know about.
When I was planning for a five day trip to Tampa, I mentioned to one of my buddies that I was trying to find a good deal on a rental car for my trip. I told him that I had checked out a few rental car companies online, but none of them were offering any really good deals. My buddy asked me if I had looked at Dollar Car Rental, and this is when I told him that I had never actually heard of that company. He convinced me to check them out, so that is exactly what I did when I got home to my computer.
I have to say I’m quite glad my buddy told me about Dollar. When I entered the details of my Tampa trip into their website, they provided me with a better deal than all the other companies, so I went ahead and booked it. To top things off, my experience with them once I arrived in Tampa was just as good as the online experience they provided.
