I will admit that I may be biased about Tampa being the perfect Spring Break destination because that is where I will be going next week for Spring Break. However, I actually did quite a bit of research (I know, it’s a bit ironic to do research for a Spring Break trip), and from everything that I read (both from professional travel reviewers and regular people who reviewed their own trips), Tampa was one of the highest rated Spring Break destinations.
There were several reasons why Tampa scored so well as a destination for Spring Break. Obviously, two of the main reasons are the weather and the beaches. When you think of Spring Break, you think of laying out at a beautiful beach in the heat, and that is exactly what Tampa has to offer.
Another reason Tampa scored so highly was because of the hospitality of its residents. Unlike many potential Spring Break destinations, the residents of Tampa are quite tolerant of all the Spring Breakers who come into town for five to seven days. As a result, if you go down there like I am for Spring Break, you don’t have to worry about locals hassling you or decreasing the level of fun you have during your trip.
