Last month, I took a trip to Tampa with my son. He graduated college three years ago, and he’s been so busy with work that we haven’t been able to spend much time together besides Thanksgiving and Christmas. Since we have always had a good relationship, we decided to meet in Tampa for a week of guy time.
While we were in Tampa, we had a great time. In addition to catching two Rays games, we ate a lot of great food and just enjoyed hanging out together around Tampa. It was such a great experience getting to spend so much uninterrupted time with my son and talking about how his life is going along.
When I was thinking back on our trip, one thing I realized was how helpful it was to have a rental car. I didn’t notice it during the trip, but if we wouldn’t have had that car, getting around would have really been a pain. So, if you are planning on taking a trip to Tampa yourself, make sure you get online and reserve a rental car before you arrive. Having a rental car in Tampa will make your trip a whole lot easier!
